The problem
Allocation decisions depended on the planners who knew which driver suited which lane. That knowledge was not written down, allocation slowed when those people were unavailable, and nobody could explain afterwards why a particular load went the way it did.

What made it hard
A logistics operation is thousands of moving parts at once: drivers, vehicles, warehouses, routes and customers with expectations. The engine had to ingest live data and make routing and dispatch calls faster than a planner could — and then be able to justify each one afterwards.
How we built it
- A predictive demand model that anticipates volume surges and adjusts allocation before they land
- Sub-minute location updates through GPS integration
- A driver mobile app syncing two ways with the platform: proof of delivery, status and messages
- Routing models that improve from historical delivery performance instead of staying fixed
- The reasoning recorded against each allocation, so a decision can still be explained a week later
