Dr. Khokha is a digital health platform linking patients to doctors, diagnostic labs, pharmacies and hospitals across India.
The problem
A patient journey touches several providers that do not share records. Booking happens in one place, diagnostics in another, and the prescription somewhere else, so the patient carries the paperwork between them and clinicians work without the full picture.

What made it hard
Healthcare software has to be secure, available and usable by everybody, all at the same time. Appointments, teleconsultation, diagnostics and pharmacy had to behave as one platform without loosening data privacy anywhere — and the interface had to work for patients who are not comfortable with apps.
How we built it
- Discovery sessions mapping real patient journeys and provider workflows before anything was designed
- A modular architecture, so each service can be scaled independently of the others
- Role-based access control, encrypted storage and audit trails built in from the start rather than retrofitted
- Usability testing driving an interface that works regardless of the patient's technical comfort level
