Health journalism in India requires balancing scientific accuracy with accessibility — particularly for a Hindi-speaking audience where health misinformation is widespread. Our primary challenge was building a bilingual CMS that enables editors to publish accurately in both Hindi and English without duplicating editorial effort. We built a content categorisation system across health verticals — disease coverage, hospital news, pharmaceuticals, policy, research, and wellness — with tag-based discovery and topic-based newsletters. SEO infrastructure was built to maximise organic reach for health queries across both Hindi and English search results. Web stories, podcasts, and video hosting were integrated natively to support diverse content formats. A weekly editorial digest system with spam-free subscription management was built to keep readers engaged without overwhelming them.
