The platform enables coaches to design and assign structured training sessions, monitor athlete progress, conduct video analysis on tricks and techniques, and communicate directly with riders. Athletes get personalised training plans, progress dashboards, competition schedules, and technique improvement insights — all in one intuitive mobile experience built for the fast-paced world of BMX cycling.
BMX coaching involves two distinct user types with opposite workflows: coaches who plan, assign, and review, and athletes who train, record, and report. Building a unified platform that serves both roles required a role-based architecture with shared data but distinct interfaces. We built a real-time video upload and annotation system optimised for mobile bandwidth, allowing coaches to review trick footage and add frame-by-frame feedback. Training session scheduling integrates with device calendars, and push notifications drive athlete engagement on training days. Performance analytics are presented in intuitive visual dashboards — keeping athletes motivated and coaches informed without overwhelming complexity.
